Rocky started working with metals in 2006 at the Craft Alliance in St. Louis and instantly fell in love with the material. She moved on to obtain her BFA in Metalsmithing at SIUE; this was followed by several years as a bench jeweler at a local bespoke jewelry store where she honed her fine metal and jewelry skills.
She uses silver and gold to create unique fine jewelry that accentuates every individual’s personal sense of style. While using a variety of techniques and often incorporating precious, semi-precious and non-precious stones the pieces take their shape through thoughtful play and experimentation. She gathers inspiration from the process that brings metal and stone from the earth to a completed piece.
She currently lives and creates in Edwardsville, IL amidst fruit trees, a hop farm, and two feisty pups. She travels to display and sell her work in various shows and galleries.
